…in the world of crypto currencies back in 2013. Bitcoin was an important part of the subject matter at London Disrupts Finance. For over 10 years we rode the swelling wave of crypto, meeting thousands of people along the way; some of the most unique and authentic characters looking to change the world and embracing the concept of decentralization. Also some extremely savvy business people seeing new opportunities and developing completely new concepts. Even brilliant minds in the vanguard of technology, building applications that have made a lasting impact on the world of today.
For years we have asked ourselves how we should memorialize our personal journeys in this space. Write a book? Create a podcast? Partly fueled by the impact of technology and how it relates to creatives (such as blockchain on digital rights management, artificial intelligence on the creation of content and art) we found our answer; let’s build a bridge between real-world artists and this vanguard of technology by creating unique digital art collectibles that commemorate the events, projects, developments and especially people that have made the last decade and a half so extremely interesting. And leave an immutable record of the past behind, while embracing the developments of the present day as well.
